Brazilian youth seem to care more about getting a tan than healthy skin. In fact, skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in Brazil, with over 140,000 new cases diagnosed each year. In order to make Brazilian youth aware of this growing problem, Sol de Janeiro asked for the help of those who are closest to youth’s skin: their tattoo artists. We created a training program to teach the tattoo artists how to distinguish skin problems. The program took place in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo and all the participants got a diploma. Over 450 tattoo artists have been certified already. This was an award-winning project and you can find the list here.

BAND SPORTS | ANTI RIVAL VACCINE

What is the very thing a Brazilian sports father fear the most? Seeing a son support the rival team. With that insight, Bandsports created the Anti-Rival Vaccine: an idea that used rivalry to support the children immunization campaign against H1N1. During an outbreak of the virus in São Paulo, we set up a special clinic for football enthusiasts. In there, consultation rooms were fully decorated with the colors of the four major São Paulo soccer teams. Doctors and nurses had jersey-like uniforms and even the syringes were customized. Fathers just had to choose a rival team and their sons H1N1 immunization took place at that team's room. The vaccines were the regular approved ones, only the environment changed. All to make children associate the pain of that experience with the rival, protecting them from the disease and from the wrong team. With Bandsports Anti-Rival Vaccine, sports fathers had two reasons to rest easy: no H1N1 and none of that rival nonsense. This was an award-winning project and you can find the list here.

Art Gap is an exhibition presented by Standard Chartered to raise awareness of equal pay for equal work through art. If women are going to be paid 47.6% less, they will paint 47.6% less. A collective of women artists decided to use their canvas to make a statement that hopefully inspires the world to act. The campaign was after compiled into a book, gathering all the artworks and its statements that were sent to top executives from leading multinationals. There are emotions you can only feel properly if you are there personally. That insight jumpstarted us to developed a campaign powerful enough to change the perception Brazilians had about Rio 2016 Olympic Games. The research we did about the most remarkable moments from previous editions was instrumental to embody the verses of one of the greatest anthems of Brazil's utmost stars: Roberto Carlos. This is a Coca-Cola campaign for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Gold Feelings makes a comparison between the feeling of drinking a coke and winning a gold medal in the olympics.
